GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse fell in a Centennial Conference battle to #8 Gettysburg College on Saturday.
The Garnet dropped the conference match, 18-5, against the nationally ranked Bullets.
Isabela Bloomquistt tallied a team high two goals, while
Emma Holub,
Eleanor Miller and
Andie Kapiloff each notched a goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gettysburg opened the scoring by recording the opening five goals, but Kapiloff put an end to that streak with 8:06 left in the first frame.
- In the third quarter, Holub tallied the first goal for either team as the junior put home an unassisted goal. The Garnet and Bullets would exchange goals in the frame as Miller and Bloomquist each put a goal in the back of the net. Bloomquist netted her second goal of the game
- The Garnet held the advantage by recording 18 draw controls.
Helena Irvine led the way with nine draw controls, while Ashly Pyon added six, Miller with two and
Elizabeth Zack with one.

Helen Stafford recorded eight saves in 36-plus minutes of action in the cage for the Garnet.
