SWARTHMORE, PA. - No. 27 Swarthmore College Women's Tennis knocked off nationally-ranked No. 14 University of Mary Washington, 5-4, at the Faulkner Tennis Courts on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Garnet tallied two points in doubles play.
Crystal Xu and
Nathalie Williams earned an 8-5 victory at the number one doubles positions. At the number three doubles positions,
Spencer Watts and
Oviya Kumaran earned an 8-4 decision.
- At the number six position, Xu clinched the match with a two set 7-5, 6-2 victory.

Erica Stutz recorded an 7-5, 6-1 victory at the number four singles position. At the number five singles position, Kumaran gave the Garnet a slight 4-3 advantage.
- At the number two position,
Jenny Lewis fell in a three set battle with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.
