SWARTHMORE, PA. - No. 29 Swarthmore College Men's Tennis earned a non-conference victory as they defeated Stevens, 7-2, on Saturday at the Faulkner Tennis Courts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- In singles action, the Garnet earned seven points. At the number one position,
Charley Force earned a 7-5, 6-1 decision. Force went 2-0 on the day the sophomore earned an 8-5 victory at the number two doubles with
Rushil Patel.
- Patel battled to a 6-1, 7-6 victory at the number three singles position. At the number two position,
Kevin Jiang earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
Phil Rehwinkel,
Josiah Myers-Lipton and
Noah Criss capped of the singles sweep.
- Rehwinkel finished with a 6-2, 6-2 win at the number four position. At the number five singles spot, Myers-Lipton battled to a 7-5, 6-1 victory.
- Criss closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-1 decision at the number six position.
