SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse earned its first victory of the 2022 campaign as they knocked off Immaculata in dominant fashion, 17-3, on Wednesday evening at Clothier Field Stadium.
Kyra Hall led the way as she tallied six goals and one assist, while
Abigail Love added a hat trick and an assist. In net for the Garnet,
Katee Kemether tallied three saves on four shots on goal in 45 minutes of action.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Love got the Garnet off to a fast start as the first-year opened the scoring just 42-seconds into the contest.
Helena Irvine picked up a ground and found a cutting Love to give Swarthmore the 1-0 edge. Hall scored a pair, as
Ashley Pyon added a goal in the next two-plus minutes forcing the Mighty Macs to take a timeout.
- Swarthmore won the second quarter by a 3-1 advantage as Hall, Love, and
Francesca Richardson each scored a goal.
- Love scored in the third quarter with the help of Irvine, and just moments later Irvine added a goal for herself. The Garnet continued the offensive pressure in the third frame as Ashley Finkbinker was tasked with making challenging saves on a free-postion shot and four other offensive attempts.

Isabela Bloomquist extended the Swarthmore lead with the help of Love just under four minutes into the contest. The Garnet tallied 36 shots and went 10-of-13 on clear attempts.
