CLAREMONT, CA - The No. 38 Swarthmore College men's tennis team defeated No. 18 Sewanee University, 7-2, on Friday afternoon.
The Garnet swept doubles as they opened the afternoon with three victories.
Charley Force led the way for Swarthmore with victories in No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles.

John Nichols-Daly and
Grant Dill opened the afternoon with a No. 1 doubles victory, 8-4. The duo of Force and
Rushil Patel were also victorious in No. 2 doubles, 8-3, while
Graham Hadesman and
Max Pogorelov won in No. 3 doubles, 8-6.
- Force picked up his second victory of the afternoon with a No. 1 singles win, 6-1, 6-4. The Garnet were also victorious in No. 2 singles with a comeback victory from
Kevin Jiang, 5-7, 6-4, 10-7.

Phil Rehwinkel picked up a win in third doubles, 7-5, 6-4, to clinch a team victory, while
Josiah Myers-Lipton won in No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-3.
