CLERMONT, FL - The Swarthmore College softball team closed out a successful spring schedule with a double-header sweep on their final day in Florida. The Garnet defeated Emmanuel, 7-2, and then shutout Simmons, 9-0, in the finale.

Gwen Glatz carried that momentum into the finale with a shutout against Simmons. The senior tossed seven scoreless with six strikeouts, while allowing just two hits. Glatz also had three hits against Simmons, which was more than she allowed.
