Men’s Soccer Battles to Scoreless Draw Versus Washington College

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's soccer team battled to a scoreless 0-0 draw versus Washington College on Wednesday night.

Caleb Ehrenhaft made a game-high six saves in a full 90-minutes of action for the Garnet. The junior had to step up and make several pivotal saves as Swarthmore was outshot 15-4.

Stathis Kalathias, Bless Tumushabe, Brandon Cramblitt and Henry Lin all recorded shots for the Garnet. Tumushabe had the best scoring chance of the evening with a strike from the left side in the opening half.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bless Tumushabe took a rip at the net in the 20th minute. The senior played a shot high from the far side, which forced the keeper to make a leaping save. The Garnet were not able to connect on the ensuing corner kick.

- Jackson Haynes disrupted a potential scoring opportunity with a slide tackle inside the box during the 42nd minute. The first-year wrestled the ball away from an attacker who made a run after getting free inside the box.

- Ehrenheft was forced to make a pair of crucial saves in the 55th minute. The Shoremen played a header on goal following a corner kick. The attempt created traffic in front of the goal line as Ehrenheft made a remarkable save from point blank range to keep the game scoreless.
