COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. –
Woojin Shin's goal with time winding down gives Swarthmore College Men's Soccer a victory Ursinus College in Centennial Conference action on Wednesday night.
Stathis Kalathias sent the ball from midfield to Shin at the top of the box, who beat Lewin down low for the game-winner. The goal in the 89th was the senior's first goal of the season.
In the 36th minute of play,
Jonah Johnson collected a loose ball around midfield. Johnson led
Freddie Lin on a beautiful touch that Lin put by a diving Lewin for the opening goal. Aidan O'Malley tied the game in the 66th minute for the Bears.
Late in the second half, Swarthmore had three chances to take the lead. Shin recorded a shot in the 85th minutes and
Harrison Hotham headed a shot over the crossbar in the 86th minute. A few minutes later in the 88th,
Oliver Garcia put a shot wide that would give Swarthmore the lead.

Brandon Cramblit all tallied a shot in the victory for the Garnet. Swarthmore recorded ten shots and three corners.
Max Kral recorded two saves as he earned the victory in the net.
The Garnet improve to 6-2 and 2-1 in conference play, while the Bears fall to 5-4 and 1-2 in Centennial action. Swarthmore will host McDaniel College on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in Centennial Conference play.
