SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Swarthmore College Women's Soccer and Gettysburg College battled to a 0-0 double overtime draw in Centennial Conference play at Clothier Field on Saturday afternoon. 

The Garnet move to 1-2-2 and 0-1-1 in league play, while the Bullets fall 4-1-1 and 1-0-1 in conference action. An evenly match game between the conference foes saw Gettysburg notched 16 shots while Swarthmore tallied 12. In net Lillian Keller recorded eight saves for the Garnet. 

Early in the first half, Abby Chang and Amelia Mounts each had opportunities to open the scoring but they missed the target. Veronica Gibbons forced Maddie Cunningham into a tough save in the 16th minute as the forward shot loose ball towards the net. 

Elizabeth Brown put Cunningham into a tough spot as the firs year fired a shot towards the goal. In the second OT, Keren Maze looked to give Swarthmore the victory until her shot went just over the crossbar. 

Swarthmore returns to action on Thursday as they host Arcadia University in a make-up from September 1st. Kickoff is set for 7pm.
