"The team is working hard and staying positive as we find our footing. When we get going we are hard to beat but we've had some slow starts during some tough road trips so far this season. We've worked things out as the games have gone on but we're working on dictating tempo and that is hard to do in soccer" head coach Todd Anckaitis stated after the game.

Amy Harris, Hope Neale and Jacinta Fernandes-Brough each tallied a shot in the game.

The tough road schedule doesn't stop as the Garnet go on the road against this Wednesday for their first midweek game Moravian. First kick against the Greyhounds is set for 7:30 p.m.
