HOBOKEN, N.J.- Swarthmore College Field Hockey fell to Stevens Tech in a double overtime thriller, 3-2, on Saturday afternoon.
Trailing after two periods,
Chelsea Semper tapped in a goal after a defensive save to get the Garnet on the board.
Alexandra Kelleher tied the game late with her first collegiate goal.
Samantha Meacock registered three shots, wile
Grace Twitchell and
Martina Kampel each tallied a pair of shots for the Garnet.
Aron Lankford recorded 12 saves in the cage, and faced 31 shots in the game. Swarthmore earned eight penalty corners in the non-league contest.
Swarthmore returns to actino on Wednesday as they host Eastern University at 4:30 pm.
