LANCASTER, Pa. - Swarthmore College had 82 fall student-athletes awarded a spot on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll on Thursday. The student-athletes, sophomores and older, were recognized for having achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher.
Men's and women's soccer led the way with 17 team members making the cut for each program. Field Hockey posted 14 to the list, and Men's Cross Country added 13.
Women's Cross Country had 11 student-athletes achieve a spot on the honor roll, while ten Volleyball members reached the standard.
Martina Kampel (Field Hockey) and
Aidan Cantine (Men's Cross Country) were named Centennial Conference Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors were awarded in each sport to a member of the junior or senior class with the highest cumulative GPA on the All-Centennial Team.
