SWARTHMORE, Pa.--Swarthmore College Men's Lacrosse began spring break with a convincing 19-12 win at home against Elizabethtown College. Elizabethtown (3-3 overall) had a win previously against No. 15 Dickinson.
Swarthmore improved to 3-2 with the victory and has now won three straight. A hot start to the third quarter helped provide Swarthmore the separation it needed after going into the half tied at 7-7. The Garnet scored five straight goals to open up the period and never looked back.

Head coach
Pat Gress' halftime speech must have lit a fire under the Garnet as they then scored five straight goals out of the break. Levitz launched a missile from up top two minutes into the third to start the five-goal run.
