Box Score 2 FULLERTON, Calif.—Swarthmore College Men's Tennis fell to Hope International University and No. 13 University of Redlands in split-squad matches on Wednesday.
Swarthmore fell 6-3 to the NAIA team from Hope International.
Blake Oetting and Max Gruber earned wins in singles and James Hahn and William Teoh got the win in doubles.
Oetting won at third singles 6-4, 6-1, and Gruber won sixth singles in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4.
In second doubles, Hahn and Teoh won 8-6.
Against Redlands, Josh Powell picked up the team's only win, defeating his opponent in fourth singles 6-4, 2-6, 10-5.
