SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Swarthmore College Volleyball beat Centennial Conference-opponent Washington College in three sets on Wednesday night. The scores were 25-9, 25-16, 25-14.
The Garnet (11-3, 4-1) have now won 16 straight home matches. Their last home loss came on Nov. 5, 2016.
Junior
Mehra den Braven led the Garnet with 17 kills against the Shorewomen (6-12, 1-4). She had a season-high .517 hitting percentage.
Swarthmore only trailed once in the match as they lost the first point of the second set. They took a 2-1 lead in that set and didn't fall behind again in the match.
Sophomore
Alyssa Nathan recorded 11 assists per set for Swarthmore in the win.
Garnet junior
Emma Morgan-Bennett had a match-high five total blocks, and senior
Sarah Girard had a match-high 13 digs.
The Garnet will try to keep their home win streak alive on Saturday at 1 p.m. against non-conference opponent Salisbury University.
