GETTYSBURG, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Basketball fell on Saturday to the top team in the Centennial Conference, the Gettysburg College Bullets. The Bullets (16-2, 12-1 Centennial) rolled past Swarthmore 89-39 on Saturday.
Swarthmore shot 27.8 percent from the floor on Saturday while Gettysburg sank 45.1 percent of its attempts. Five different players scored in double figures for the Bullets. Nine total players scored for Swarthmore, but no one registered double-digit points.
Kendall Tribus led Swarthmore with eight points and had three points and two assists in just 16 minutes.
Abigail Pirron added seven points and five rebounds.
Raina Williams contributed six points and two rebounds.
A 13-0 run early in the first quarter for the Bullets helped them to a comfortable lead.
Swarthmore out-scored Gettysburg 15-12 in the fourth quarter, but couldn't keep pace with the Bullets.
The Garnet travel to Muhlenberg on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. game.
