SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Basketball slipped against the Dickinson College Red Devils 63-42 at home on Saturday.
Hayley Raymond led Swarthmore with 10 points, reaching double digits in scoring for the second time this season. Raymond also had two steals and a block.
Abigail Pirron added eight points for Swarthmore while grabbing five rebounds. Point guard
Isabelle Ewart posted seven points and eight rebounds.
Abigail Posta finished with six points and six rebounds.
The Garnet ended up in a 17-6 hole in the first quarter, but played much better in the second quarter, scoring 12 and holding the visitors to 12 as well.
Dickinson out-paced the Garnet 34-24 in the second half to secure the win. Four Dickinson players reached double digits, with Emily Padalino leading the way with 17 points and Kassidy Lasher recording a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Swarthmore plays at Franklin & Marshall College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
