GETTYSBURG, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse collided with No. 5 Gettysburg College on the road on Saturday. The Garnet struggled against the Bullets and fell by a final score of 18-0.
Tess Wild tied for a game-high four draw controls.
Betsy Cohen and
Lily Fornof combined for five saves for the Garnet.
The hosts won 15-of-20 draw controls in the game and generated 23 shots on goal.
The Garnet were consistent in the clear game, successfully transitioning to the offensive end 10-of-11 times.
Swarthmore looks to bounce back on Tuesday with a non-conference game at Widener University.
