BOX SCORE

SWARTHMORE, Pa.–April showers forced the 27th-ranked Swarthmore College men's tennis team indoors, but the change of venue did not phase the Garnet as they earned a 7-2 victory over the visiting Franklin & Marshall College Diplomats on Saturday, April 22.

The Dips gave the Garnet a battle in doubles as the hosts came out with a 2-1 edge. The second double pair of Thomas Vernier and Ari Cepelewicz won 8-6 while top doubles duo Mark Fallati and Josh Powell came all the way back from a 4-7 deficit for a 9-8(5) triumph over their opponents.

Fallati earned a second win with a 6-1, 6-3 result at no. 1 and John Larkin moved closer to 100 career wins with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at the second spot.
