After five innings of scoreless softball, Emilie Morse doubled to left center in the sixth with only one out. Swarthmore was unable to bring home the run and the Red Devils capitalized with an unearned run in the bottom half of the frame.

Marisa Mancini led off by reaching on an error and made it to second on a passed ball by the catcher. Hannah Thompson singled to put runners on the corners with no outs, but Swarthmore could not bring the tying run home.
