ANNVILLE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse returned to Pennsylvania after a successful spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C., and won its first game back. The Garnet (3-0) topped the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen (0-4) on Saturday 11-5.
Elizabeth Wainwright led the way with a game-high four goals and recorded a hat trick within the first 10 minutes.

Taylor Chiang and
Sydnie Schwarz each tallied a pair of goals, and
Tess Wild added a single goal.
Betsy Cohen recorded six saves in the net for the Garnet.
Swarthmore won 10 draws with freshman
Sophie Peipher grabbing a game-high five draws.
Wainwright scored the first three goals of the game before Lebanon Valley responded 11 minutes in with its first goal. Chiang scored a free-position goal to put Swarthmore up 4-1, but Leb Val got one back with seven minutes to go. The Garnet distanced themselves from the Dutchmen to close out the first half with another goal by Wainwright followed by Schwarz's first tally.
Lebanon Valley scored the first two goals of the second half, again pulling within two, but Swarthmore peeled away with a 5-1 run to close out the game.
Swarthmore returns to action on Saturday at Eastern University.
