WESTMINSTER, Md.—Swarthmore College Men's Soccer tallied its third Centennial Conference tie on the season on Saturday, picking up another point in the standings. The 0-0 draw on the road with the McDaniel College Green Terror gives the Garnet a 2-1-3 record in conference (nine points) and fifth place in the league. The Garnet, hoping to lock up one of the five playoff seeds, have three conference games remaining this season with one against a team ahead of them in the standings (Gettysburg) and two against teams chasing them (Haverford and Washington).

Oliver Steinglass recorded eight saves in 110 minutes of scoreless play in goal for the Garnet and picked up his fourth shutout of the year. His GAA dipped to 1.31 with the clean sheet.

Swarthmore recorded 20 shots in the draw and put seven of them on goal. McDaniel went for 18 shots and eight on goal. Swarthmore doubled McDaniel's chances in the second half and the first overtime period. McDaniel however took five shots in the second overtime period and forced Steinglass to record two of his saves then.

Garnet shots on goal came from Conor Gill (2), Tommy Sheehan (2) and Trevor Homestad, Omri Gal and Michael Nafziger with one apiece.

Swarthmore returns to action on Monday with a home non-conference game against Rutgers-Camden.
