SWARTHMORE, Pa.–A change of venue could not slow down the 22nd-ranked Swarthmore College men's team (12-5, 7-0 CC) as the Garnet beat visiting Dickinson College by a 7-2 margin in the Mullan Indoor Tennis Center on Saturday, April 23.
Swarthmore remains a perfect 7-0 in Centennial Conference competition and also boasts a 7-0 mark in home matches this season.
The hosts led 2-1 after doubles as the regionally-ranked duo of
Mark Fallati and
Josh Powell won 8-4 at no. 1 doubles and the team of
John Larkin and
Blake Oetting triumphed by the same score at no. 3.
In singles action, Larkin picked up another point, making quick work of Steve Kaplan in a 6-0, 6-1 victory. Sophomore
Ari Cepelewicz followed suit by winning 6-0, 6-4 at no. 3 singles and Fallati clinched the match with a 6-3, 6-3 decision in the top singles flight.

Josh Powell routed Derek Chen 6-2, 6-0 at no. 5 singles and freshmen
James Hahn capped off the afternoon on a 6-2, 6-3 triumph at no. 6 singles.
