SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse darted to a commanding 9-0 lead by the midway point in the first half en route to a 16-5 win over Bryn Mawr College on Saturday.
The Garnet picked up their first Centennial Conference win of the year and improved to 5-4 overall. Bryn Mawr dipped to 4-4 overall and 0-3 in Centennial play.
Lizzie Kolln notched a season-high 11 points on five goals and six assists. Kolln, who had a goal disallowed as well, reached the 100-goal mark for her career in the contest.
Sophomore Kathryn Restrepo also posted five goals, scoring on all five shot attempts she took. Restrepo recorded a hat trick within the first five minutes of action.
Briana Narzikul added a hat trick for the second time this season. Taylor Chiang, Tess Wild and Emily Sokol also scored. Sokol and Wild
The Garnet return to the field on Wednesday against McDaniel College for a 7 p.m. game.
