BOX SCORELANCASTER, Pa - The 22nd-ranked Swarthmore College men's tennis team (11-6, 6-0 CC) edged no. 29 Franklin & Marshall College 5-4 on Saturday, April 16 to stay undefeated in conference and extend its overall win streak to eight matches.

Josh Powell first soundly defeated Doug Kaplan and Jack Rothman, 8-1, at the no. 1 doubles position. Junior
John Larkin and sophomore
Blake Oetting next notched an 8-5 win at no. 3 over Zack Levin and Isaac Salas to give Swarthmore a 2-1 advantage going into singles play.
Larkin earned a second win, blanking Levin, 6-0, 6-0, at no. 2 singles. While freshman
James Hahn recorded a 6-1, 6-3 win at no. 6 over Will Samuels, the Diplomats took matches at no. 1, 3, 4 to tie the score. Clinching the match with another win at no. 5, Powell secured a 6-4, 6-4 decision against Inigo Flores.
The Garnet next host Dickinson College on Saturday, April 23 at 1:00 p.m.
