CLEARWATER, Fla.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse pillaged the Rivier University Raiders 18-3 on Tuesday to open the spring break trip in Florida. The Garnet scored 14 goals in the first half and added four more in the second.

Lizzie Kolln tallied three goals and four assists to lead the Garnet with seven points. Kathryn Restrepo also added four goals and posted two assists for a six-point game. Three Garnet players netted two markers: Briana Narzikul, Emily Sokol and Shivani Chinnappan. Chinnappan had a team-high four of the Garnet's 15 draw controls.

Elizabeth Wainwright, Tess Wild, Bella Levine, Taylor Chiang and Elizabeth Upton all scored a goal as well.

Swarthmore went 2-for-2 on free-position shots with Chinnappan and Sokol doing the honors.

The Garnet went to work early on the short-handed Raiders, netting three goals in the first three minutes. The Garnet enforced the running-clock situation with 14 minutes left in the first half, going ahead 11-1 on Taylor Chiang's goal.

Swarthmore plays University of Rochester in Clearwater on Thursday at 7 p.m.
