Maria Cuervo blanked Winsome Schauer and Leesa Malczewski, 8-0. Freshmen
Arya Jemal and
Amanda Izes also recorded an 8-0 shutout against Angela Johnson and Laura Penhallegon at No. 2.
Jemal and Cuervo earned their second wins on the day with 6-0, 6-0 victories over Malczewski and Penhallegon at the No. 2 and No. 4 positions, respectively. Sophomore
Ashley Gao did not concede a single game either, winning 6-0, 6-0 against Measimer at No. 5. Freshman
Shivani Gupta topped Russell at No. 6, 6-2, 6-0, while sophomore
Anna Scheibmeir took No. 3 over Johnson, 6-1, 6-0. Finishing out the sweep at No. 1, freshman
Julia Gokhberg notched a 6-2, 6-2 win over Schauer.
Swarthmore will play its final non-conference match on Saturday, April 2, hosting The College of New Jersey at 12:00 p.m.
