SWARTHMORE, Pa.—After a slow first half, Swarthmore College Men's Basketball switched gears in the second half to cruise to a 21-point win over Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday evening.
The Garnet trailed by nine points at halftime, but rallied for an 81-60 win over the visiting Dutchmen. Swarthmore's postseason run progresses to the ECAC South Semifinal round where the Garnet will face PSU-Behrend (21-5) on Saturday on the campus of DeSales University.
In the second period, the Garnet shot an even 50 percent from the floor (16-for-32) and were even better from 3-point range, going 61.5 percent.

Swarthmore countered in the second half with a 13-1 run in the first 4:28 of the period. A fastbreak layup by Tom Wilmots capped off the game-changing run.
After Leb Val regained the lead at 53-50 with 11:12 to play, Jim Lammers knocked down a three from the wing to even the count. Rhodes followed with a triple two possessions later to give Swarthmore the advantage for good. After another basket by Light, the Garnet then quickly darted out on a 9-0 run to pull to a 65-55 lead with 6:35 to go. Shane Loeffler sparked the run with a layup and then a set of three made free throws.
From 6:15 to 2:15 in the second half, the Garnet surged for a 13-0 run that put the game out of reach.
The Garnet look to carry over the hot second-half shooting into Saturday's semifinal game against PSU-Behrend.
