LANCASTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Soccer collided with undefeated Franklin & Marshall College on the road on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0.
F&M (7-0, 1-0 Centennial), ranked No. 4 in the U.S. in the most recent NSCAA poll, netted the game-winner in the 68th minute on a goal by Ugo Okolie.
The Garnet (3-4, 0-1) took four first-half shots and one more in the second half. The Diplomats matched the Garnet's attempts in the first-half, but had more looks in the second-half to finish with nine total shots and five on goal. In the 20th minute, Swarthmore had one shot on goal by
Billy Evers that was saved, and the follow-up shot by
Tommy Sheehan caromed off the crossbar.

Tyler Zon made four saves, including stopping a penalty kick attempt in the 21st minute and making a diving stop on a two-on-one breakaway situation in the 83rd minute.
For the Garnet, all seven of their games this season have now been decided by one goal. The Garnet's four-game road swing comes to a close on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Stevens Institute of Technology.
