Freshmen
Ashley Gao and
Rachel Bronkema earned Swarthmore's lone point in doubles play. The pair defeated Abigail Healy and Caroline Steliottes, 8-3.Â
In singles competition, sophomore
Alli Wong came back after a first set deficit to hold on in a three-set thriller against Caitlin Gallagher at No. 1. Wong earned the second team point with her 0-6, 6-4, 10-5 decision.
At No. 2, freshman
Anna Scheibmeir nearly pulled out a win against Greta Koch. She lost narrowly, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 10-8.
The Garnet women will close out their regular season on Saturday, Apr. 25, when they host sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins University at 11 a.m.Â
