Wednesday, Apr. 22.
At No. 1 doubles, freshman
Mark Fallati and classmate
Ari Cepelewicz blanked Vishnu Rajes and Dan Boate, 8-0. Senior
Harrison Lands and freshman
Josh Powell won at No. 2 over Ryan Holtschneider and Jeremy Novick, 8-4.
Sophomore
John Larkin and freshman
Blake Oetting gave up only one game at No. 3, defeating Zachary Novick and Justin Panepinto, 8-1, to complete the shutout in doubles competition.
In singles play, Larkin, Fallati, and Cepelewicz all earned their second wins by identical 6-0, 6-1 decisions. Larkin beat Rajes at No. 1, Falatti defeated Boate at No. 2, and at No. 3, Cepelewicz overcame Holtschneider.
With the match clinched, Oetting won against Jeremy Novick, 8-1, while freshman
Yosuke Higashi defeated Zachary Novick by the same score. Finishing the sweep at No. 6, freshman
Michael Song prevailed over Panepinto, 8-5.
The Garnet men will compete in their final match of the regular season when they travel to Haverford College on
Saturday, Apr. 25. Play beings at 1 p.m.
