Kenyon, currently ranked eighth in Division III by the ITA, took command of the match early on with a doubles sweep. At No. 1, freshman
Ari Cepelewicz and classmate
Mark Fallati challenged Tim Rosensteel and Sam Geier, but were narrowly defeated, 8-6.
In singles competition, Fallati pushed his match at No. 2 to three sets, but ultimately fell to Geier, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4. Freshman
Blake Oetting battled Colin Haas at No. 4, but came up short, 6-1, 4-6, 6-2. At No. 1, sophomore
John Larkin also fought a three-set match, losing 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
The Garnet men will resume Centennial Conference play when they travel to nationally-ranked Johns Hopkins University
next Saturday,
