BOX SCORESWARTHMORE, Pa - The 39th-ranked Swarthmore College men's tennis team (2-0) continued its spring campaign with a 5-4 home victory against 30th-ranked New York University (0-1) on
Saturday, February 28.

John Larkin and freshman
Blake Oetting were both double winners on the day. They teamed up in doubles play at No. 3 to defeat David Zumwalt and Samuel Khoshbin 8-4. Taking No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, NYU led 2-1 going into singles competition.
Oetting then dominated at No. 4 singles, beating Matt DeMichiel by a score of 6-0, 6-2. Freshman
Ari Cepelewicz also won convincingly, 6-1, 6-2, against Karan Goyal at No. 3, as did freshman
Mark Fallati at No. 2, claiming a 6-4, 6-1 win over Ian Combemale.
Larkin went on to top Sidd Thangirala at No. 1 singles. Down 2-5 in the second set, he fought back to 7-5 and took it to a third set. He clinched the match for the Garnet when he won 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Swarthmore looks to continue the streak
next Saturday,
March 7, when they host #40 Stevens Tech at 1 p.m. in the Mullan Center.
