CHESTERTOWN, Md.—Swarthmore College Field Hockey posted four shots against Washington College Thursday afternoon but was kept off the scoreboard by the Shorewomen. The Garnet fell 2-0 in the Centennial Conference contest.
The Garnet ran into a Shorewomen squad that has won six straight games, including four consecutive shutouts. Washington scored early in the contest, netting a penalty stroke in the 3rd minute. The Shorewomen's second goal came off a corner 42 minutes in.
Swarthmore goalkeeper
Ainsley Parrish recorded another double-digit save game, her third this season. Parrish denied 12 shots on goal to up her season total to 85.
Swarthmore's conference slate continues at Gettysburg College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
