BALTIMORE, Md. - The Swarthmore College women's tennis team (9-10) completed its 2014 spring campaign with a 5-0 loss in the Centennial Conference semifinals at #2 Johns Hopkins on Saturday, May 3.
 
Hopkins swept the doubles matches and then clinched the match with victories at No. 4 and 5 singles. Seniors Katie Samuelson and Brooke Wilkins rallied at No. 2 doubles before suffering an 8-3 loss. In singles action, senior Lia Carlson was up 4-2 against Amanda Austi before the match was suspended.
 
Swarthmore graduates three seniors and is slated to return four letterwinners next season.
