BOX SCOREGETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's tennis team (4-6, 3-0 CC) maintained its unblemished Centennial Conference record with an 8-1 defeat of Gettysburg on Saturday, Apr. 12. 
Senior 
Lia Carlson and freshman 
Alli Wong put the Garnet on the board with an 8-0 blanking of the No. 1 doubles combination of Stacey Majileuski and Isabelle Rodriguez. Junior 
Gayatri Iyengar and sophomore 
Jackie Lane followed, earning an 8-1 victory at No. 3. Seniors 
Katie Samuelson and 
Brooke Wilkins completed the doubles sweep, fighting to an 8-6 win over Laura Gradsika and Lindsey Morris at No. 2 doubles. 
In singles action, five Garnet players became double winners for the day as they cruised to straight-set victories. At No. 1, Carlson blanked Majileuski 6-0, 6-0. Samuelson picked up a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 2 against Gradsika. 
Swarthmore continued controlling singles as Wong defeated Rodriguez decisively at No. 3 singles. Iyengar and Wilkins picked up the team's final two singles points at No. 4 and 5, respectively. Iyengar downed her opponent 6-2, 6-1, and Wilkins dropped only two games in her 6-0, 6-2 win against Morris. 
Swarthmore will return to action on Wednesday, April 9 at Ursinus at 4:30 p.m.
