John Larkin triumphed in singles play, but it wasn't enough, as the Swarthmore College men's tennis team fell to #17 Mary Washington by a 7-2 score on Saturday, Apr. 5.
Kaye and Larkin were victorious in No. 2 and No. 4 singles, respectively. A native of Palm Beach, Fla., Kaye won his match over Alexander Blakhin in straight sets by scores of 6-3 and 6-4. Larkin defeated Evan Charles 7-5, 6-2.
Swarthmore (5-6), which has dropped all of its matches to nationally-ranked opponents, will look to remain unbeaten in Centennial Conference play when it hosts McDaniel on Wednesday, Apr. 9 at 4 p.m.
