Freshman
Alli Wong sealed the Garnet's lone point at No. 3 singles. Going the distance in her match, she defeated Kaitlin Pfisterer 6-3, 2-6, 13-11.
Swarthmore kept the doubles close, with junior
Jackie Lane and sophomore
Gayatri Iyengar narrowly edged out 9-7 at No. 3. Senior
Lia Carlson and Wong fought at No. 1 doubles before falling 8-3, and seniors
Katie Samuelson and
Brooke Wilkins lost by the same score at No. 2.
Swarthmore has earned the fourth seed for the Centennial Conference Tournament and will host fifth-seeded Muhlenberg in the first round on Wednesday, Apr. 30 at 3 p.m.
