CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Swarthmore College men's tennis team fell to 18th- ranked Gustavus Adolphus by a 6-3 score in its final match at the Hens-Stags Invitational on Saturday, March 15 in California.

Max Kaye was a double winner to lead the Garnet, who have faced and challenging schedule and have lost all four of their matches to nationally-ranked opponents. Kaye defeated Juan-Luis Chu at No. 2 singles by set scores of 7-6 and 6-3 and also teamed up with
Harrison Lands to notch a 9-7 triumph at the top doubles position against Mya Smith-Dennis and Montasem Al-Houni.
Irving Stone was also victorious at No. 5 singles, earning 6-3 and 7-6 set wins over Bradley Entwhistle.
Swarthmore (2-4) will visit Ursinus for its Centennial Conference opener on Wednesday, March 19 at 4:30 p.m.
