No. 26 Men's Tennis Handles Dickinson, 8-1

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The No. 26 Swarthmore College men' tennis team (9-7, 5-2) returned home and defeated Dickinson College 8-1 on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Anthony Collard, junior Max Kaye and senior Malik Mubeen all won a pair of matches for the Garnet, which continues its quest to secure a Centennial Conference playoff spot.

Swarthmore worked hard to get a sweep of doubles, pulling away in three close matches with the Red Devils. Kaye and sophomore Max Sacks won at No. 1 8-5 over Dickinson's Christian Mueller-Wolf and Will Golinkin. At No. 2, Collard and Mubeen muscled out a hard-fought 9-8 (4) win over DC's Joey Frank and Erik Dinardo. Junior Christian Carcione and sophomore Harrison Lands closed out doubles with an 8-6 win.

It was more straightforward in singles, where Swarthmore won five of six, only allowing a point when Sacks was forced to retire at No. 2 singles. Along with the double-winners, junior No. 4 Preston Poon (6-3, 6-4) and sophomore No. 5 Irving Stone (6-1, 6-0) were victorious.

Swarthmore returns to action tomorrow against Mary Washington.
