Fredericksburg, Va. - The Swarthmore College women's tennis team (4-2, 2-0) stepped outside of Centennial Conference play and suffered a 9-0 defeat to No. 26 Mary Washington on Friday evening.
The Eagles were in control from the get-go, sweeping doubles and not dropping a set in singles play.
Swarthmore begins a three-match week on Wednesday at Washington College. The Garnet then host Gettysburg and TCNJ over the weekend.
