POMONA, Calif. - Playing under the radiant California sun for the first time over Spring Break, the No. 25 Swarthmore College men's tennis team (2-1) suffered its first defeat of the 2013 season at the hands of No. 1 Kenyon by a score of 9-0 on Sunday afternoon.
The Lords, recently elevated to No. 1 by the ITA, proved too much for the young Garnet, sweeping both singles and doubles play. Paul Burgin, Michael Razumovsky, C.J. Williams and Kevin Ye were all double-winners for Kenyon
Swarthmore returns to action from California on Tuesday when it travels to Whittier.
