Box Score BALTIMORE, Md. – The Swarthmore College volleyball team dropped its second straight Centennial Conference match to Johns Hopkins Saturday afternoon as the Blue Jays won in straight sets (25-19, 25-18, 25-20).
Johns Hopkins (18-1, 3-0 CC) defeated Swarthmore (10-3, 2-2 CC) with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-20 and a team hitting percentage of .342. Three Blue Jays' had kills in double-digits as the team collected 51 on 114 attempts with 12 total errors.
Madison Heppe gathered 10 digs for the Garnet, while Danielle Sullivan assisted on defense with eight digs. Sullivan collected six kills and two service aces as well.
Kat Montemurro led the offense with seven kills and added four digs in the effort. Brone Lobichusky added three kills, one service ace and two block assists. Allie Coleman collected 18 assists for the Garnet.
Swarthmore returns to action in the Tarble Pavilion on Tuesday, October 2nd against Washington College at 7:00 p.m.
