Tate Wasson joined the coaching staff in the 2024-25 school year after a standout playing career at the University of Delaware where the team won the CAA and competed in the NCAA tournament in both 2022 and 2023. He was elevated to defensive coordinator in a full-time role for the 2027 campaign.
Tate graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a Master’s degree in International Business and was on the CAA Commissioner ‘s Academic Honor from 2020-2023. As an athlete, Tate was a five-year starter on defense, 2020 Freshman All American, Team Captain and CAA Defensive Player of the Week. Off the field, Tate was a three-year member of SAAC.
