Elmore

Ajala Elmore

Ajala Elmore joined the Swarthmore softball staff as an assistant coach in July 2026. 

A three-year softball captain at Moravian University, Elmore earned three All-Landmark selections and two NFCA All-Region accolades to headline an excellent career. The second baseman helped lead the Greyhounds to four Landmark titles, while capturing back-to-back conference tournament Most Valuable Player awards. She hit .329 for her career with 11 home runs and 107 RBI in 184 games played. 

Elmore graduated as the program’s all-time leader in games played. She currently ranks top-10 in career stolen bases and defensive assists. 

In addition to her impact on the field, Elmore was a four-year representative for Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and served as the graduate assistant in the Office of the President at Moravian, where she supported high-level administrative functions, managed scheduling and communications, and helped plan and execute major university events in coordination with senior leadership.

Prior to joining the Garnet, Elmore worked as an intern for the Landmark Conference while earning her MBA in Data Analytics at Moravian. Elmore assisted with conference operations, communication efforts, championship preparation, and strategic initiatives across the league's 23 sponsored sports.
