Nicole Dorman is a 2019 graduate of Widener University with a degree in psychology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Widener’s physical therapy program. She was a four-year starting outside hitter for Pope John Paul II High School, where she earned all-state, all-conference, all-area, and all-district first team recognition as a junior and senior. Nicole earned the PAC-10 MVP, the Pottstown Mercury All-Area Player of the Year, and was a team captain her senior year. She also helped lead the Golden Panthers to three district titles.
Nicole played volleyball for the Widener Pride for four years from 2015-2018. She earned All-Conference honors and first and second team recognition. She is one of two players in program history to achieve over 1,000 career kills as well as over 1,000 career digs. Nicole holds the school record for kills in a single-match with 34 against FDU-Fordham in a 2016 match. She also is ranked 2nd at Widener for career kills.
Nicole began coaching with Delaware United Volleyball Club in 2016, running several camps and coaching 15s, 16s, and 17s teams. The 2019 season will be her first with Swarthmore.
