Margarita Sadovnikova is in her first season as an assistant women’s tennis coach at Swarthmore. She is responsible for assisting head coach Jeremy Loomis with all aspects of the program.
Sadovnikova comes to Swarthmore after most recently earning four letters with the women’s tennis program at Youngstown State, which competes at the Division I level. As a student-athlete, Sadovnikova was a four-time All-Horizon League First Team selection and helped the Penguins capture their first-ever conference title and NCAA Tournament berth in 2014. She also captained the team for three seasons and was a team representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for two years.
A native of Ufa, Russia, Sadovnikova graduated from Youngstown State in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in general studies and communications. She still enjoys playing tennis in her free time.
