Reba Magier '16 joined the Swarthmore College Women's Soccer coaching staff prior to the 2016 season, following a four-year career as the Garnet goalkeeper.

Magier, who double majored in biology and computer science at Swarthmore, logged more than 6,000 minutes between the posts for Swarthmore, recording a career GAA of 0.77 and an 84.6 percent save percentage.

The Garnet won the Centennial Conference Championship in 2014 as the No. 5 seed with Magier claiming tournament MVP honors after defending the net in the shootout with Johns Hopkins. 

Magier then helped Swarthmore to eight straight shutouts to begin the 2015 campaign and only allowed three goals in the regular season. The Garnet advanced to the national quarterfinals in the NCAA Tournament following another impressive performance during a shootout by Magier. She helped Swarthmore advance 4-3 in PKs against Hardin-Simmons by making a PK of her own and denying four attempts by Hardin-Simmons.

Currently, Magier works as a Solutions Engineering Manager at Canvas Medical, a company with a mission to give care teams superpowers with software. Canvas is building an open, extensible platform that enables safe control of healthcare automation. In doing so we accelerate everyday medicine towards a future where patients have improved access to high quality, proactive care. Previously, Magier worked at Syapse, a precision medicine software company.
