Brianne Comden joins the women’s basketball coaching staff for the 2017-18 season.
Comden graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2017 after a stellar career on the hardwood. She was a two-time All-American and a three-time All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) First Team selection as she finished her career with 1,503 points, the third-best mark in program history. A three-time team captain, Comden led the Eagles to the NCAA tournament in her last two seasons and to an 86-25 overall record during her four years.
At Mary Washington, she studied psychology and served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for three years. Comden has also worked as a coaching assistant for the Spotsy Sting AAU basketball team since 2013 with an emphasis on developing post players.
