Marc Fisicaro joins Coach Box and the men’s tennis team for his first year as an assistant coach in the fall of 2024.
Previously, Marc served as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania during two separate stints. There, he played a key role in leading the women’s team to its first-ever Ivy League title and its deepest run in the NCAA Championships, including the program’s first win over perennial powerhouse Pepperdine. During his tenure, he coached multiple All-Ivy League players, including two Ivy League Rookies of the Year and two Ivy League Players of the Year.
In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Marc has worked with many top-ranked local junior players. Several of these players achieved national rankings and went on to compete at Division 1 and Division 3 programs. Notably, he coached the number one-ranked player in the national 16-and-unders.
Marc began his playing career at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a four-year starter, spending three of those years in the number one singles and doubles positions. He earned multiple All-Ivy selections and helped Penn achieve its first-ever top 50 national ranking.
Marc currently resides in South Jersey with his wife, two daughters, and beloved golden retriever, Sydney.
